The Veneer Panels Pty Ltd environmental policy commits us to protecting our environment
and natural resource.
Whenever possible our veneers are sourced
from either plantation, substainably managed or regrowth forests.
Our
particleboard and MDF substrates are made from plantation forest
product and either EI (low formaldehyde emission) or E0 (zero formaldehyde
emission).
We are currently moving towards using only E0
depending upon availability.
The Forest Stewardship Council has granted
Veneer Panels P/L FSC Chain of Custody certification.
Veneer Panels
P/L strongly support the responsible management of forests and care about
the environment and the social quality of the source of our products.
This
certification allows Veneer Panels P/L to supply FSC certified natural
and reconstructed veneers and FSC certified panel products which contribute to
Green Star rating points.
Veneer Panels P/L also protect
the safety of its workplace through state of art wood dust suction systems.
You
can also be assured that all timber off cuts and wastage are recycled
through our waste management process.
Management is
committed to incorporated environmental issues in all decision making, ensuring
that they are kept up to date by attending, participating and subscribing to
various government and communities.
